Mid-week giveaway!

Although I don’t wear exactly the same hairstyle every day, I do pick from a handful of about five favourites (it’s just easy when you don’t have time to kill in front of the mirror when you’re brushing your teeth and hopping about on one leg trying to put your jeans on at the same time). But that’s daytime – what about those rare and fabulous occasions when I’m off out in the evening? Er, I tend to once again pick from the same five styles, sometimes putting in a bit more effort with a retro quiff or going to the lengths of using straighteners to tame my barnet into something that looks vaguely done.

This is why I just love   the idea of a blow-dry bar where they do all the styling for you, from providing a menu of fabulous styles (so no imagination needed from you), to letting you relax in the chair while that hairdo is then coiffed away into position. In 30 minutes! No achy arms while you try to dry the back or attempt to put kirby grips in place. No children running into the bedroom at the fiddly bit. No frustration while you pull out all the grips and brush it furiously into your usual pony. Just cool, groomed and amazing.
