Prints charming

As I mentioned in a post entitled Details almost an age  ago now (doesn’t time fly when not one second is unaccounted for…?), prints are your friend. And they’re obviously my  friend, as my wardrobe is full of print, from leopard to floral to stripe to checks… And it’s not just that stains from small children get camouflaged within the design, but they manage to distract from any stubborn lumps and bumps that tend to be hanging about your person, too (added bonus). Which is why I’m a teensy bit excited about the Orla Kiely designs winging their way into Uniqlo’s new-season wardrobe.

Orla Kiely’s classic, bold and colourful prints not only look fab and give your outfit a touch of retro, they also give about 20 seconds of distraction to a mid-meltdown toddler if you manically start counting out each graphic on your chest; ‘Look , darling! One, two, three… Isn’t that FUN?! Can you  count them?’
