Well, Hershesons have done it again, and created an even speedier grooming treat that’s well worthy of featuring on our Quick-Fix Friday hit list.

Just launched at the new Hershesons Blow-Dry Bar in Selfridges on London’s bustling Oxford Street, the new 15-minute blow-dry uses one can of dry shampoo, one super-speedy stylist and 15 minutes of blow-drying to create your express makeover. For all of us time-strapped mums who get twitchy when sat in a salon chair for too long when we could be at home Getting Stuff Done, this is ideal. Oh, and it’s just £15. Win.

Luke Hersheson, the man behind the speed blow-dry, says it’s ideal for women who ‘don’t have time to sit through the whole washing-and-drying process.’  He’s also a man who knows how essential a can of dry shampoo is in every busy mum’s life, which is why they’ve teamed up with dry-shampoo gods Batiste to offer this service.

‘Dry shampoo is such a big part of women’s daily hair regime now,’ says Luke, ‘and it seemed sensible to offer a service that reflects the speed and, more importantly, the sexy texture and effect it gives to the hair.’ Yes, sexy texture, that’s exactly why we use dry shampoo. It’s not because we have five-day-old roots you could cook chips on, regrowth that we haven’t had time to attend to in months or mere seconds in which to get ourselves and the kids ready in the morning, leaving hair washing last on the list.
