Shoe Zone wedges

You may remember I posted back in June about my becoming a Shoe Zone Mummy. Well, I wanted to tell you about one of the latest pairs I’ve been reviewing, as they are a Mummy Look Must-Have.

Now, being eight months’ pregnant, I’ve been hanging out in flats of late, but on a recent night out I decided to opt for heels, and I’m so glad I wore these little beauties. The heel height was totally doable – high enough to make me feel dressed up but not so high I was wobbling everywhere and wishing I could ditch them after an hour.

Wedges always feel a little more stable if you’re not so confident on heels or have been out of heel action due to pregnancy or running around after toddlers, and it also means no sinking in the grass, should you be at a garden party, wedding or BBQ. The nude patent finish means they go brilliantly with so many outfits too, whether it’s a dress, work trousers or even smartening up jeans and a top.

Classic Duchess of Cambridge styling, I got a lot of comments on them and I think they have more than a touch of LK Bennett about them, which is pretty fab considering they’re just £14.99 (buy them here).

And here I am wearing them at the party! You can read my full review on the Shoe Zone blog here.
