S/S 2012 Trend Week: sports luxe

Today’s mummy-perfect trend? Sports luxe (thank you Isabel Marant, Alexander Wang and Stella McCartney – who also, remember, brought pyjamas to the catwalk. No coincidence she’s a mum, I reckon…). Finally, something I can be grateful to the Olympics for: the inspiration it’s provided for designers to put together easy, comfortable outfits you can move in. Excellent for crawling around the floor, chasing around the park and bending down to pick up the washing (Jeez my life is sooo rock n roll…). This is one for all us busy, active mothers. And hey, when you’re on your third load of washing by 11am, you might as well be hanging out those muslins in style.
